Terms governing the use of VideoFlux and its AI video generation services
2026/08/24
These Terms of Service (the Terms) form a binding agreement between you and VideoFlux. By creating an account, purchasing credits, or using the service, you accept these Terms.
You may use VideoFlux only if you can legally enter into this agreement and comply with applicable law. If you use the service for an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization.
VideoFlux is an independent interface that lets users submit text prompts and reference images to third-party AI models and receive generated videos. VideoFlux is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Google, Kuaishou, ByteDance, MiniMax, Runway, kie.ai, or any upstream model provider. Models, output characteristics, pricing, and availability may change without notice when providers update their services.
You must be at least 13 years old, provide accurate information, and keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for activity performed through your account and must notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require additional consent or a higher minimum age where local law requires it.
You must not use VideoFlux to create, upload, request, publish, or distribute:
You may not bypass safeguards, probe the service for vulnerabilities, resell account access, interfere with other users, or use automated means that impose unreasonable load. More detailed content standards and our current moderation approach appear in Sections 11 and 12.
As between you and VideoFlux, you retain your rights in prompts and uploaded reference images and own generated videos to the extent permitted by applicable law and the upstream model's terms. Paid subscribers receive commercial-use rights; Free-plan output is limited to personal, non-commercial use. You are responsible for securing all rights needed for your inputs and intended use.
VideoFlux receives only the limited rights required to process, store, and deliver your content. If you explicitly mark a video public, you grant VideoFlux a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display and promote that video in the public gallery until you remove it. Public visibility does not transfer ownership.
Credits are prepaid usage units, not money, stored value, or a transferable currency. Subscription credits expire 30 days after issuance, purchased top-up credits expire 365 days after purchase, and signup credits expire 90 days after issuance. Credits are non-transferable and have no cash value. The exact estimated cost is displayed before generation; a completed submission consumes the displayed amount.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the displayed interval until cancelled. You authorize Waffo and its payment partners to charge the selected payment method. Cancellation stops future renewals but does not refund the current billing period. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material subscription price changes where required by law. Taxes may be added based on your location.
Purchases are generally non-refundable after any associated credits are consumed. At our discretion, unused purchases may be refunded when requested within seven days. Failed generations caused by an upstream provider or VideoFlux system are automatically credited back after failure is confirmed. See the separate Refund Policy for request instructions and exclusions.
The service is provided as is and as available. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular generation time, or that output will match a prompt. Third-party models may be delayed, removed, rate-limited, or materially changed. We may perform maintenance or modify features to maintain security and sustainability.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, VideoFlux will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, punitive, or consequential damages, lost profits, lost data, reputational harm, or business interruption. VideoFlux's total aggregate liability arising from the service will not exceed the amount you paid to VideoFlux during the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded.
The following standards apply to prompts, negative prompts, reference images, generated videos, public-gallery submissions, and other material submitted through VideoFlux.
VideoFlux prohibits:
We may immediately block or remove this content, suspend or terminate the associated account, preserve relevant records, and report apparent illegal content when required or permitted by law.
You must not use the service for pornography or explicit sexual content; graphic or gratuitous violence; hate or discriminatory abuse; deceptive political persuasion; impersonation; fraud; harmful professional misinformation; illegal drugs, weapons, or services; or content that infringes intellectual-property, privacy, publicity, or personality rights.
Creative, documentary, newsworthy, educational, or fictional context does not automatically make content permissible. You remain responsible for consent, rights clearance, age-appropriateness, disclosure of synthetic media where required, and compliance with the laws and platform rules that apply to your use.
Attempts to evade safety controls—including obfuscated or fragmented prompts, repeated borderline submissions, manipulation of reference media, or use of multiple accounts—are violations. Bulk spam generation, deceptive presentation of AI output as verified human work, scraping at scale, and systematic extraction of outputs to develop a competing model or service are also prohibited unless we have expressly authorized them in writing.
VideoFlux uses a combination of upstream model-provider safeguards and platform enforcement. Safety controls are risk-reduction measures, not a guarantee that every prohibited input will be detected or that every output will be safe, accurate, lawful, or appropriate.
VideoFlux does not currently represent that it independently scans every prompt, uploaded image, intermediate video frame, or completed video before delivery. We may add platform-level text, image, video, hash-matching, rate-limit, or behavior-analysis controls as the service develops and may block a request before generation when such controls identify material risk.
Users and rights holders may report suspected violations to [email protected] or through the contact page. We may review reported content, content submitted to the public gallery, relevant prompts and reference media, task records, and associated account activity to investigate a report or enforce these Terms. We do not promise continuous manual monitoring or review of every generation.
Depending on severity, recurrence, legal obligations, available evidence, and provider action, we may block a request, prevent or remove public display, remove stored content, warn the user, limit features or usage, suspend the account, or permanently terminate access. Apparent child exploitation or other serious illegal activity may be preserved and reported as required or permitted by law. Where reasonable and lawful, we may allow an affected user to contact support to contest an enforcement decision.
You may stop using VideoFlux at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for Acceptable Use violations, fraud, payment disputes, security threats, or material breach of these Terms. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to export completed videos. Rights that by their nature should survive termination—including payment obligations, ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits—will survive.
We may update these Terms as the service or law changes. Material changes will be announced by email or a prominent in-product notice before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
These Terms and any dispute related to the service are governed by applicable law and will be handled by a court with competent jurisdiction, unless mandatory consumer law requires otherwise.
Questions about these Terms may be sent to [email protected] or through the contact page.
